A Café In Hanoi In The Company Of Pets
You have heard a lot about cafes where cats or dogs are allowed, and those pet friendly establishments . However, when we think of pet friendly , the most popular pets come to mind, but the coffee in Hanoi that we want to talk to you about goes further. If you are curious, do not stop reading what it is about.
The cafe in Hanoi to take your pet
Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam, and today it has a very special cafeteria that has given a lot to talk about. We were surprised by the news of the cafe to go to with cats, or different establishments in which dogs were welcome, but this cafeteria has exceeded the limits.
It is known as ‘the cafe for pets’, since any animal is allowed in and, knowing the predilection of the Orientals for reptiles, you can imagine what you will find there if you go.
In addition, it is not only that customers can bring their pets, but the owner has his own, which encourages everyone to go with ‘whoever’ they want.
Behind the window there is a huge iguana, the owner’s pet. It indicates that if you enter, you will find a memorable show. Terrariums on the walls show different reptiles and tarantulas, totaling about 30 species.
Nguyen Minh Nghia is the owner of this peculiar establishment and, in addition to all these animals that he cares for on the premises, he has another 10 more specimens in his house. If you don’t have a reptile, a spider or an iguana, don’t worry, you can also go to Nghia’s place and enjoy a coffee in the company of their pets.
Some call it crazy, others are delighted to be able to go with their python or reptile for coffee, while some use it to combat their fears. Yes, although many have entered the cafe in Hanoi with suspicion, little by little they have thought about losing their phobia of reptiles and have even considered the option of touching one.
What did its owner want
Many wonder, perhaps you too, how and why you came up with the idea of creating a cafe like this. Well, although reptiles, snakes and spiders are animals that can be seen in the corners of Vietnam, it is not common to see them in cities like Hanoi.
Well, it depends on how, because there are many spiders and insects that are served as appetizers, fried, which provide a large dose of natural and healthy proteins. Nhgia’s goal was undoubtedly for humans to connect with reptiles in an intense way, and she has achieved this thanks to the initiative of setting up this very special cafeteria.
As a child, he had a water dragon that died when he was only three years old because he did not know what care it required. This caused trauma to Nghia, who was then a child, and he became obsessed with learning everything necessary to care for reptiles and other exotic animals. Thanks to the internet, he succeeded.
Today you know how to feed them, the light to put them and where they should be. As you might expect, maintaining a place like this is not cheap: you have to buy food based on small insects and rodents, as well as face the cost of electricity to keep the animals under the UV rays, which provide the constant temperature they need.
And you, would you dare to go to this cafe in Hanoi in the company of pets? We are still thinking about it …
