1. Virunga National Park
It is the first national park on the African continent, located in the Republic of the Congo, and comprising two mountain ranges: Virunga and Ruwenzori. It is known for being the natural habitat of mountain gorillas, which are unfortunately in danger of extinction due to poaching and wars in the country.
Besides seeing these beautiful primates, in this park made up of plains and plateaus, hippos, elephants, giraffes, chimpanzees, buffaloes and endemic birds can also be seen.
2. Everglades National Park

5. Kangaroo Island
With this name you can get the idea of what you will find as soon as you arrive … Many marsupials! To get here we can start from the city of Adelaide, in Australia, since it is about 100 kilometers to the southeast of the continent.
One third of Kangaroo Island has been declared a national park, conservation or protected reserve, with Flinders Chase as the most visited area. This sanctuary is ideal to see wild animals in the wild and, better still, species that have been brought from the continent to prevent them from becoming extinct, such as the koala and the platypus.
6. Iberá ecotourism park
In northeastern Argentina, this 1.3 million hectare reserve, full of grasslands, canals and wetlands, is home to the following species: the alligator, the capybara (a large rodent), the river wolf, the deer of the swamps and the marsh guazú, the latter three in danger of extinction.
Of the entire total area of the estuaries, an ecosystem flooded by water, some 150,000 hectares were donated to the government through an ecological foundation. This, with the aim of avoiding indiscriminate logging, poaching and the real estate industry.
